Open Graph will help now to perform perform site specific actions via Facebook. After a user adds your app to their Timeline, app specific actions are shared on Facebook via the Open Graph. As your app becomes an important part of how users express themselves, these actions are more prominently displayed throughout the Facebook Timeline, News Feed, and Ticker. This enables your app to become a key part of the user’s and their friend’s experience on Facebook.

Facebook is making Open Graph even more powerful today with action links. Action links are an additional Open Graph action that can be added to a Timeline app beside the usual Like and Comment actions.

Facebook says that action links can tie any one action to another, and are part of any Open Graph story. Developers only need designate the action link for any defined action and it will appear throughout Facebook all over your Timeline app.

For example in place of liking the post only you can perform the action example “Like the Place”
