Why You Should Get a Samsung Galaxy Nexus…

The Nexus has a few advantages over the iPhone. Firstly, it’s faster. It runs a 1200 Mhx processor, rather than the slower 800 MHz processor on the Apple, making it more powerful and snappier. It also runs double the RAM, meaning that it’s more responsive and better able to handle multi-tasking or running more than one process at a time. The screen on the Nexus is much larger, measuring in at 4.6 inches over the iPhone’s 3.5 inches. Plus it’s better quality. The Nexus’s display is a Super AMOLED screen, rather than the older LCD screen on the iPhone, so it’s brighter and more vivid. And it has fifty per cent higher screen resolution too, meaning that it’s crisper and clearer to look at. Those are some pretty impressive advantages…

What the iPhone 4S Does Well…

But the iPhone has a few tricks up its sleeve. First up, depending on which model you buy, you might have more internal storage. The Nexus comes with 16 GB of memory, the iPhone with between 8 GB and 64 GB, depending on how much money you’re willing to spend, so you might be able to store a lot more music, games, videos and apps on your device. You get a better camera, the iPhone has an 8 MP device, rather than the 5 MP camera on the Nexus, so photos are simply better quality and have more fine detail. Finally, you get better Bluetooth support, since the iPhone comes equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 rather than the older 3.0 version on the Nexus. If you frequently connect to Bluetooth devices such as hands free then the newer version will give you faster data transfer and will mean that your phone uses less battery to connect.

Which is Better?

They are both pretty good devices, but forced to choose, we go for the Nexus. It’s more powerful, and has a bigger and better screen, these are things that we definitely look for in a phone.
