How often your mobile should be charged? Mobile phone keeps you connected with your friends, family, business clients etc. It is a part and parcel of your daily life and you not just use it to make calls and texts but for many other things like browsing the web, listening to music and for many other work and entertainment purposes. To perform all these activities your phone needs a strong battery and if your battery dies in the middle of the conversation you will have to wait till you connect the charger and until the battery starts charging. So, it is better to know when you have to replace your mobile battery and for how long you need to charge your mobile so that you have your mobile phone available all the time.
Lithium-Ion Battery and charging
Most of the cell phone these days run on lithium ion batteries. Like the old nickel hydrate batteries they do not have a “memory effect” and so the users do not have to completely drain the battery before charging it again. You can charge the battery for 2 hours daily if you use the phone for just talking only on the phone. If you use it for other purposes then you will have to charge it for more time.
Buy a New Battery
If your cell phone has gone old and it can no longer hold the charge or dies faster than it used to before, then it is an indication that it needs to be replaced with a new one. You can buy a new battery online from the cell phone manufacturer’s website or visit a cell phone store and buy your phone company’s original battery. When you start using the cell phone with the new battery let the phone charge at least one day before you use it.
Draining the battery completely
Do not wait until your phone battery is dead totally before charging it again. You will not be able to take calls if the battery is completely dead and there is no charge available near you. If you text a lot then make sure you have a charger with you, because texting uses a lot of battery power.
Charging the battery
Charge the battery only when it is very low. When you use Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, watch videos, access internet your phone battery will drain. If your phone’s battery does not hold charge for a long time or is not getting charged then consider about its replacement.
